About the Role

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Controls Engineer with a strong background in the automotive sector. This role involves troubleshooting and debugging PLCs on the manufacturing floor, with a focus on writing code and diagnosing wiring issues.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of this position include:

  • Debugging and troubleshooting PLCs on the plant floor.
  • Writing code and identifying wiring problems.
  • Designing control panels and circuit logic.
  • Utilizing software such as RSLogix 5000, RS Networx, ControlNet, EtherNET IP, and Drive software.
Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:

  • Experience in the automotive manufacturing sector.
  • A background in control panel and circuit design.
  • Familiarity with smart display design and programming.
