Job Summary

The Strategic Solutions Lead will be responsible for evaluating new digital health solutions specifically within ECG for connected devices market, in line with the strategic focus of the Connected Devices team. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, including Sponsors, Business Development team, IT teams, Delivery teams, Therapeutic area leads, and other teams within IQVIA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate new digital health solutions for connected devices market
  • Develop new service offerings for connected devices and advise on operational workflow for new devices
  • Ensure implementation of end-to-end workflow for new solutions in sync with study/program and internal or external stakeholders
  • Work with Vendors, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to create entire offering, including standard proposal text, budget line items, and rate cards
  • Contribute to creation of internal SOPs, study templates, site and patient-facing materials as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on solution
  • Provide subject matter expertise on connected devices solutions strategy, considering operational aspect of existing platforms and technologies, and maintain awareness of industry benchmarks and new technologies in connected device domain
  • Ensure consistent and outstanding quality against department deliverables, playing a lead role in all key issues related to quality management and process improvement
  • Manage customer relationships, attending client meetings to understand client expectations regarding various projects and present operational aspects of Connected Devices team
  • Provide system overview and client demos to potential clients
  • Manage standard operating procedures of department and ensure compliance with ICH GCP guidelines
  • Oversee maintenance, review, and validation of Quality Control procedures
  • Plan for and manage assets for team members (software, hardware, space, supplies), coordinating with support functions
  • Liaise with Business Development to provide timely inputs regarding feasibility of new proposals going out to clients
  • Retire offerings that are no longer applicable to connected devices team

Requirements

  • Knowledge of FDA guidelines and different regulatory bodies and their impact on operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good technical skills related to systems
  • Good team leadership skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients

Education and Experience

  • Should understand technology and have good business acumen, leadership, and project management skills
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience within field of research managing people and operations in healthcare or pharmaceutical company, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Bachelor's degree (required) in Life Sciences (preferred)
