Responsibilities

In your role as a Fiber Splicing Supervisor, you will lead a team of skilled Fiber Splicers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work through specialized expertise in splicing, activations, testing, troubleshooting, and more. Your commitment to excellence will make a significant impact in our efforts to expand technology for the community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership within the utility construction sector
  • Enhancing your team's knowledge and skills in fiber splicing
  • Directing multiple crews and overseeing their job site activities
  • Promoting a company-wide culture of safety
  • Motivating your team to meet project deadlines and maintain quality standards
  • Delivering exceptional customer service when addressing escalated issues
Qualifications

  • You possess experience in fiber splicing and troubleshooting
  • You are knowledgeable in fiber engineering and familiar with fiber equipment, including fusion splicers and testing devices such as OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer) 1310, 1550, DWDM, CWDM, 945 OLTS, Max Tester, and Power Meter
  • You thrive on problem-solving and addressing challenges as they arise
  • You embrace the role of coaching and mentoring your team
