The IT Support Specialist collaborates with the IT department and end users to deliver administration and assistance for all operational hardware and software.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitates timely and comprehensive communication between the corporate IT team and all property IT personnel.
- Maintains and supports all user-based applications across the property, including upgrades and security measures. This encompasses various systems such as gaming and point of sale.
- Ensures that computing systems operate in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Implements and maintains standardized workstation configurations, ensuring PCs are updated to current specifications.
- Provides assistance to users regarding system and software administration and usage.
- Coordinates maintenance schedules, backups, and downtime notifications to users.
- Develops and maintains technical documentation.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned.
Supervisory Duties
- No supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- 1-3 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Familiarity with gaming system software applications; experience with Aristocrat Oasis gaming applications is advantageous.
- Proficient in general Windows and SQL Server functionalities, operations, and security.
- Understanding of key business processes within the gaming industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Licenses/Certifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to obtain necessary gaming licenses in required jurisdictions.
Required Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and prompt follow-up.
- Support for a 24/7 information systems environment.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
