Pharmacist Clinical Community Specialist

As a Clinical Pharmacist with SSM Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the appropriate selection, dosing, and administration of medication orders. You will provide supervision to pharmacy technicians, residents, and interns, and interact with patients, physicians, and nurses to provide proper drug therapy.
Responsibilities- Verify prescription orders and dispense medications accurately, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
- Compound prescription medications as needed and maintain accurate documentation.
- Monitor medication therapy and make recommendations to therapy as appropriate.
- Counsel patients on drug information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure policies and procedures are reviewed and updated.
- Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D or Bachelor of Pharmacy) from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
- Registration as a Pharmacist with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Missouri Division of Professional Registration, Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy, or Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.
