Preferred Communities Caseworker

Job Summary:
The Preferred Communities Caseworker - Client Support Specialist will provide case management services to eligible clients, ensuring that their needs are met in a planned, effective, and timely manner. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Extended Care Services Director and contribute to the goal of self-sufficiency for participating clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with clients and staff members to strategize an appropriate service plan and address needs related to housing, employment, education, and healthcare.
* Provide direct service support and referrals as needed, working collaboratively with other refugee programs.
* Conduct direct case management services to assist clients towards economic and social self-sufficiency.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, including intake, assessments, and required paperwork.
* Participate in trainings and webinars to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in social services.
* Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and vehicle insurance.
* Ability to operate an agency 12-passenger van as needed.
* Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
