Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at ResCare Community Living. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each person served.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and reassessments to identify health status and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Supervise and train direct care staff to ensure high-quality care and support.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, including medication administration records and medical histories.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and maintain ongoing clinical knowledge through internal and external training programs.
Requirements
  • Must have at least one year of nursing experience, including six months in a supervisory role.
  • Clinical experience in providing services and supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or related disorders is preferred.
  • Degree or certification from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, which is current and remains in good standing.
  • Valid driver's license from the state of residence.
  • CPR certification.
