Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at JobsRUs. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with customers, ensuring their requirements are met, and providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain customer records by updating account information
  • Enter customer orders into the accounting system and maintain customer order spreadsheets
  • Verify pricing of all new purchase orders
  • Verify inventory against purchase orders
  • Review the production schedule to ensure order can be fulfilled
  • Review purchase orders and sales orders
  • Confirm orders with brokers and customers via fax, email, or phone
  • Correspond with customers via phone, email, internet, and written correspondence regarding the status of orders
  • Communicate within the company regarding customer orders and ship dates
  • Receive and process Sample Requests, including inter-company communication, preparing shipment, and scheduling pick-up
  • Assist QA with resolving claims or customer complaints and communicate resolution if appropriate
  • Oversee customer accounts, ensuring all processes are being attended to, including account status, product deliveries, and customer records
  • Maintain a professional relationship and assist as needed with our broker network
  • Maintain broker network files
  • Assist the Transportation Scheduler when needed
  • Assist and train new customer service representatives as needed
  • Work closely with the sales department, aiding as needed
  • Interact with the Accounting department to follow up on Accounts Receivable issues

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or higher or a combination of education and experience
  • Three years of combined administrative experience, sales, customer service, inventory control, and/or logistics experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
  • Language Requirement: Ability to effectively communicate and understand orally and in writing in English
  • Physical Requirement: Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30lbs
