We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Coordinator to join our team at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
- Manage surgical schedules, workflows, and equipment to optimize patient flow and minimize delays.
- Assist with staff education and training to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies and equipment to ensure timely restocking and availability.
- Prepare and verify surgical preference cards and supplies lists to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Act as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course upon hire.
- 1 year Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
