About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Service Technician to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with customers to diagnose and resolve various IT issues, ensuring their systems run smoothly and securely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner, both in person and over the phone.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair computer hardware and software problems, including Windows operating systems, network connectivity issues, software installations and updates, printer and peripheral device problems, and basic IP camera troubleshooting.
  • IT Infrastructure: Assist with network configurations, security assessments, and system upgrades.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular system checks and perform proactive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including customer interactions and troubleshooting steps.
  • Professional Development: Stay current on the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience with Windows operating systems, basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and common software applications.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to explain technical issues in clear and concise terms to non-technical users.
  • Positive Attitude: A team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certification: A+ Certification (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
