Job Title: AV Project Manager

At Federated Service Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV Project Manager to join our team. As an AV Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the installation of Audio-Visual equipment and systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the installation of AV equipment and systems, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Review and understand customer expectations and work closely with the Sales Engineer to ensure that projects are properly planned and managed.
  • Supervise and manage AV technicians assigned to projects, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, utilizing tools such as Sprint Tracker and tasks, to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.
  • Organize and implement budget control, ensuring projects are completed within budget for labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Enter and maintain system data, using support roles including but not limited to: Customer Creation, Project Creation, Project specific scope information, tools, and technician skills required, Work Order and Site Visit Creation, Revisit entries, Work Order Completion, Subcontractor Invoice Approvals, and Tech Ratings.
  • Support other roles and departments in their tasks related to corresponding projects, including but not limited to: Scheduling and routing of visits, Mass Work Order Creation, Enter Purchase Requests, Rental Requests, Manual Creation, Technician Support, Qualify and ensure preparedness of assigned AV technicians, Manage AV technicians post-assignment, Communicate updates of ongoing projects, Review of bids and proposals, Work with Purchasing Team to manage job inventory, Timely management of lift releases, Manage issues, customer expectations, and escalations, Develop, update, and send reports to customer, Review deliverables, Schedule and run project Lessons Learned meetings, and Ensure that all paperwork is completed timely and accurately.

Requirements:

  • 3 years minimum Audio-Visual PM knowledge and experience required.
  • Creston Solutions knowledge required.
  • Unified Communications knowledge required.
  • IP Networking knowledge required.
  • Managed Service Project knowledge preferred.
