Position Overview

As a Project Manager for Steering/EPS within the Vehicle Motion Division, you will lead cross-functional teams with a strong sense of ownership to meet customer expectations and project deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee complex projects by developing timelines and progress reports to ensure timely completion of essential tasks.
  • Resolve open issues effectively by prioritizing, communicating, and executing aligned solutions.
  • Facilitate collaboration between customers and Bosch teams to address and escalate issues as needed.
  • Organize and track activities related to engineering changes, ensuring adherence to Bosch's change management processes.
  • Assist with customer change management by evaluating requests for design, tooling, and process modifications.
  • Communicate project status internally through various meetings and documentation.
  • Analyze specifications and requirements to prepare impact assessments and coordinate changes with stakeholders.
  • Manage customer program data for forecasting and planning purposes.
  • Maintain project documentation and data in customer portals.
  • Engage in a high-visibility role that offers opportunities for professional growth within Bosch.
Travel Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, including international trips.
Qualifications

Essential:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant project experience and customer interaction.
Preferred:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with General Motors.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and processes.
  • Technical knowledge in mechatronics combined with commercial acumen.
  • Experience in collaborative project teams.
