We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at a globally ranked Law Firm. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of client payments and financial records.
Responsibilities:
- Process all client payments, ensuring accurate recording and accounting for deductions.
- Work closely with attorneys, secretaries, and other staff to resolve billing issues and answer billing-related questions.
- Provide detailed reports on client activities to senior management.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare Write-off Requests for deductions not appealed.
- Maintain confidentiality of all firm and client information.
- Assist in special projects as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in legal billing or a related field.
- Knowledge of legal software and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of the legal billing process, including deductions.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
