Class A HAZMAT Truck Operator Responsibilities:

The Truck Operator will be responsible for transporting, delivering, and positioning vehicles and/or large equipment to and from client locations and Glradvanced facilities. Must be trained and capable of safely operating various types of transportation equipment, including but not limited to: Roll-Offs, Doubles, and Van Trailers.

Key duties include:

  • Safely operating company-owned and leased vehicles to facilitate shipping and receiving tasks.
  • Conducting necessary pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip maintenance checks.
  • Providing exceptional customer service during delivery and collection operations.
  • Preparing shipping documentation, weighing, and inspecting materials for all loads.
  • Maintaining accurate records for scale tickets, shipping documents, logbooks, and trip reports.
  • Inspecting loads and securing them as required.
  • Ensuring the upkeep and protection of all entrusted property.

Class A HAZMAT Truck Operator Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience.
  • HAZMAT Endorsement required; experience with Roll-Off and Flat Bed preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and CDL are mandatory.
  • Clean driving record is essential.
  • Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely at all times.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high levels of organization and attention to detail.
