Key Responsibilities
  • Customize and sell home insurance policies to meet the needs of our customers and prospects.
  • Assist customers in protecting other assets such as their automobiles, motorcycles, boats, businesses, and more.
  • Listen attentively to new and potential clients, evaluate their needs and financial statuses, and propose ideal plan options for their unique circumstances.
  • Provide excellent customer service by resolving billing issues, amending policies, and making policy suggestions.
  • Stay up-to-date with insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements and mutual satisfaction.
  • Contact clients regarding concerns or complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and monitor the situation to ensure the issue is resolved.
  • Apply appropriate changes to consumer policies based on the information provided.
Requirements
  • Hold an active 440 (Customer Service Representative Insurance License).
  • Have six months or more experience writing and servicing home insurance policies in the State of Florida.
  • Have basic knowledge of insurance policy procedures and schedules.
  • Have high-stress tolerance and critical thinking skills.
  • Be receptive to coaching and feedback.
  • Be able to work independently and hold yourself accountable for your performance.
  • Have strong communication skills, active listening skills, and personal skills.
  • Have prior work experience in a customer-facing position or customer service role.
  • Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and customer database systems.
  • Have a high school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Be bilingual with fluency in English and Spanish.
