We are seeking a highly skilled AutoCAD Designer to join our team at Lyon Shipyard Inc. in the maritime industry. This full-time position involves designing and developing various maritime structures, vessels, and components using AutoCAD software.
Key Responsibilities- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings based on project requirements, including ship structures, systems, layouts, and components.
- Collaborate with naval architects and engineers to develop design concepts into precise technical drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Review and revise existing drawings as necessary to incorporate design changes, client feedback, or project updates.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as an AutoCAD Designer in the maritime industry, with a strong understanding of ship design principles, terminology, and manufacturing processes.
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
