We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Systems Technician to join our team at the Military Sealift Command. In this role, you will work on the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems on our ships, including propulsion, piping, and HVAC systems.

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $140,000 per year, including base pay, allowances, and overtime pay.

About the Job:

  • You will work closely with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as you will need to work effectively with colleagues and external partners to resolve technical issues.
  • You will be responsible for conducting site visits, inspecting equipment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a relevant role, preferably in the maritime industry.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
