About the Role
This position involves performing a variety of clerical tasks such as typing, filing, sorting, photocopying, composing correspondence, maintaining calendars, booking travel, submitting expense reports, creating documents such as memos, coordinating projects, handling meeting arrangements, typing minutes from meetings, handling customer relations, and ordering supplies. You will act as the point of contact for the department, answering calls, relaying messages, and escalating issues to the appropriate person/group. Additionally, you will manage projects, organize events such as lunches, track all physician vacation and meeting requests, and process all physician reimbursements. The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should have a strong understanding of business management principles, including operations, finance, audit, personnel, and resource management. Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications is also essential. We require a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a high school diploma or equivalent being the minimum educational requirement. Related transaction processing experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. You must be able to travel throughout and between facilities, and have a valid driver's license.
