About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Earls Assembly Row. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of cooks to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement kitchen menus, recipes, and production schedules to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
  • Lead a team of cooks to achieve high-quality food production, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, labor costs, and food costs to optimize profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu items, recipes, and cooking techniques.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to junior cooks to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen, with a proven track record of leadership and culinary expertise.
  • Exceptional culinary skills, with a strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Valid work authorization in the USA.
