Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team at MEB Management Services. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for welcoming and engaging prospects, residents, and guests, preparing and scheduling property viewings, and conducting property tours and interviews. You will also address and resolve residents' and prospective residents' questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage prospects, residents, and guests in person and by phone.
  • Prepare and schedule property viewings, conduct property tours, and interview prospective residents.
  • Address and resolve residents' and prospective residents' questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Process potential resident applications, renew existing residents, and create rental agreements.
  • Inspect property conditions and ensure standards of cleanliness are met.
  • Maintain organized and updated resident files and records.
  • Report any problems or issues to the Community Manager or Leasing Manager.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
  • Help and promote resident activities.
  • Complete any other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High energy and positive attitude to contribute to a team atmosphere.
  • Great customer service and excellent communication skills from relatable experience in property leasing, hospitality, retail service, or similar.
  • Willingness to work harmoniously with other staff, vendors, contractors, and residents.
  • High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
  • Fluent reading and writing English skills; basic mathematical skills required.
  • Ability to communicate in both written and verbal formats with people and present a positive, professional image.
  • Killer time management skills.
  • Bilingual preferred but not required.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational abilities with a keen sense for details.
  • Strong customer service orientation with assertiveness.
  • Ability to professionally engage and 'seal the deal.'
  • Solid computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Teams, Word, and Excel.
  • Yardi, Resman, Onsite Property Management Software experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation required.
  • Background and credit check, pre-employment drug screening, and employment verification required.
