Cardiac Monitor Specialist

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitor Technician to join our team. As a Cardiac Monitor Technician, you will play a critical role in the ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry and provide immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms to RNs and/or clinicians.
Responsibilities- Monitor patient cardiac rhythms and provide real-time notification of any changes or abnormalities.
- Collaborate with RNs and/or clinicians to ensure accurate and timely reporting of cardiac rhythm changes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of cardiac rhythm analysis protocols.
- Provide education and training to staff on cardiac rhythm analysis and interpretation.
- Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
- One (1) or more years of experience working as a Monitor Technician preferred.
- Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course or equivalent coursework with a passing score required.
- CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician) Certification through CCI preferred.
- 7a-7p work hours.
- Weekend requirements: Yes.
- On-call requirements: No.
