We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiac Care Specialist to join our team at Northside Hospital. As a key member of our Acute Cardiac Unit, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering world-class healthcare.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to individuals with complex cardiac conditions, including dysrhythmias, heart failure, and myocardial infarction.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in cardiac care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the State of Georgia.
  • Minimum of two years of full-time experience as a RN in a cardiac care setting.
  • Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and ACLS.
  • Additional certifications, education, and competencies may be required based on the specific clinical unit.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree or higher.
  • National Certification in Clinical Specialty.
