Position Summary:
This full-time role operates from 7 am to 7:30 pm, totaling 36 hours per week. We are looking for a Senior Cardiac Monitoring Technician at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. This position requires a dedicated technician who prioritizes the quality of their work and the safety of all patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with registered nurses to monitor patients' cardiac rhythms, utilizing EKG expertise across various age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Support unit leadership in fulfilling the hospital's mission, vision, values, and quality commitments while assisting in planning strategies to meet regulatory compliance and safety goals.
- Manage patient admissions and discharges in the telemetry system, preparing necessary documentation.
- Conduct Meditech order entries and maintain communication etiquette when responding to call lights and phone inquiries.
- Continuously observe monitors, assess rhythm changes, and promptly notify nursing staff of any significant alterations in patient conditions.
- Document and mount rhythm strips for all patients, ensuring accurate records of rhythms and measurements.
- Prepare telemetry reports for each shift and manage the release of rhythm strips upon patient discharge.
- Participate in educational in-services as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Completion of a basic EKG course or demonstrated proficiency in rhythm interpretation.
