As a key member of the Marriott International Inc. team, the Strategic Business Leader will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the property's operations, including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales and revenue generation, and delivering a return on investment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business plans to maximize property customer satisfaction, profitability, and market share.
- Verify that property business plans are aligned with Marriott brand business strategies.
- Translate Marriott global strategic plan into one that can be executed on property.
- Manage on-property controllable costs associated with rooms, housekeeping, events, and food and beverage operations.
- Measure, analyze, and communicate property performance using a variety of financial/nonfinancial data.
- Manage relationships with property stakeholders, including owners and above property leadership.
- Lead employees through property changes and help them transition into new property roles.
- Conduct performance review process for direct reports and create succession plans for future job openings.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 6 years' experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or a related professional area.

The Strategic Business Leader will be eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock units/stock grants.
