Mobile Imaging Specialist

DispatchHealth Imaging is seeking a skilled Mobile Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Mobile Imaging Specialist, you will perform echocardiography studies for patients in various service locations, following company policies, procedures, and protocols. You will demonstrate competence in performing echocardiographic studies, consider the age-specific needs of the patient during exams, and collect required documentation and patient information. Additionally, you will prepare and position patients for imaging exams, operate portable ultrasonic equipment with cardiac capabilities, process and review images for quality control, transmit images and documentation to cardiologists, maintain equipment and vehicle, and orient and train new staff if requested. You will also assist with administrative and customer support functions and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
To be successful as a Mobile Imaging Specialist, you must meet state-specific and federal requirements for training, education, certification, and state license. You should have an Adult Cardiac Sonographer certification with an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program, ARDMS registered in adult echocardiography with RDCS (AE) designation, or CCI registered with Cardiac Sonographer designation. Two years' experience as a cardiac sonographer or vascular tech is preferred. You must be able to perform quality and complete echocardiogram studies, have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and possess basic computer skills for data entry. You should also be able to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds and work a varied schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
