Job Summary

JBW Federal is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our records management team, you will be responsible for uploading personnel files into our agency application and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our records.


Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve and process personnel files, removing staples and repairing damaged documents as needed
  • Photocopy documents, adjusting settings to ensure legible copies
  • Analyze contents and make decisions on whether documents are appropriate for official record
  • Determine the difference between Administrative, Performance, Legal or Policy documents
  • Identify and mark duplicate copies of documents
  • Re-staple and fasten documents in folders
  • Re-file documents and/or folders

Requirements
  • Two (2) years of records management experience
  • One (1) year of data entry experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong customer service skills

Specialized Requirements
  • Detailed knowledge of duties and responsibilities related to federal human resource, service records from the National Archives, and other agencies
  • Management and oversight of records management, assessments, analysis, and inventory experience
