Our Hospice team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. provides compassionate care to patients and their families during the final stages of their illness. We serve patients in various settings, including their homes, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Hospice team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and a passion for working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with medication administration and vital sign monitoring
- Support patients with daily living activities, such as eating and toileting
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and implementation
Requirements:
- Current unencumbered Oregon CNA Level 1 or 2 certification
- One year of experience as a Certified Nursing Aide or equivalent in a healthcare setting
- Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS certification
- Ability to pass a Criminal Records Check
Work Environment:
This position requires the use of a personal automobile and a valid driver's license. The employee must also maintain their vehicle in good working order and have auto liability/property damage insurance as required by law.
