Empyrean Hospice: A Compassionate Caregiver for End-of-Life Patients

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Aide to join our team at Empyrean Hospice. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide personalized care to patients in their homes, promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
  • Assist with ambulation, transfer/positioning, and lifting supplies and equipment
  • Observe patient condition and report observations and care performed
  • Provide positive communication and maintain confidentiality
  • Take and record vital signs as ordered
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completed a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state or organization requirements and is in good working order
