Job Title: Medical Administrator and Patient Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Administrator and Patient Coordinator to join our team at ClearCardio. As a key member of our clinic operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of daily activities, managing patient scheduling, and coordinating care between patients, doctors, and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient scheduling for clinic appointments, follow-ups, and procedures, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Act as the primary liaison between doctors, patients, insurance companies, and pharmacies, facilitating seamless communication and coordination.
  • Oversee patient management processes, including intake, record maintenance, and patient follow-up to ensure continuity of care.
  • Submit orders for tests, medications, and follow-up care to appropriate parties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate insurance pre-authorizations, verifications, and act as a point of contact for insurance companies to resolve any issues related to patient care or billing.
  • Ensure that all medical records and documentation are up to date, properly filed, and compliant with healthcare regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to doctors and clinic staff, including managing schedules, setting up meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Assist with medical billing tasks as needed, including claim submissions and working with billing specialists to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Help to improve and implement administrative processes to streamline clinic efficiency and enhance patient experience.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in medical administration, patient management, or clinic operations.
  • Familiarity with medical billing processes and terminology, though not the primary focus of the role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with experience managing schedules, patient records, and workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, doctors, insurance companies, and pharmacies.
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems and clinic management software.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting such as a clinic or hospital is highly preferred.
  • Problem-solving and attention to detail in managing administrative tasks and patient coordination.
