Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Coordinator to join our team at ProCare Preston Hollow Emergency. As the first point of contact with patients, this role plays a critical function in ensuring a positive and efficient experience for our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication and Registration: Greet patients and obtain accurate demographic and insurance information for registration, while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in harmony with clinical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete and balance all daily transaction paperwork, update and maintain patient databases, and perform other administrative duties as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, personnel, physicians, and peers, while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred. Minimum of two years of face-to-face customer service experience required.
  • Certifications and Skills: Current BLS for the Healthcare Provider certification required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional environment and communicate effectively with individuals and groups of various backgrounds and educational levels.
