Job SummaryWe are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team in Lawrence, Kansas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing claims and appeals, communicating with clients and VA personnel, and collaborating with colleagues to develop case strategies.
Responsibilities- Prepare and submit claims and appeals on behalf of clients
- Communicate effectively with clients and VA personnel
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement case strategies
- Travel to legal conferences and attend client meetings as needed
- J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school
- Active membership in good standing of the Bar
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Compassion and high standard of ethics
