Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Transportation Driver to join our team at MENTOR Adult Day Health. As a Transportation Driver, you will play a vital role in providing safe and reliable transportation services to individuals we serve, enabling them to access healthcare, social activities, and community events.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and reliable transportation services between individuals' homes, day centers, agency programs, events, and appointments with staff.
- Assist individuals with boarding and off-loading at all destinations, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Lift and transfer individuals using proper body mechanics and assistance.
- Ensure the cleanliness and daily maintenance of the vehicle.
- Assist staff in monitoring individuals and participating in activities at the day center, including meals, care, and bathroom assistance.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 18 years of age.
- Minimum two years of driver experience required.
- Valid driver's license, current registration, and insurance.
- Prior van driving experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check prior to hire.
- Reliable and responsible attitude, with a compassionate approach.
