  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the handling and analysis of forensic evidence.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of forensic results.
  • Stay current with advances in forensic science and technology, attending conferences and workshops as needed.
  • Provide training and guidance to less experienced staff members on forensic techniques and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as forensic science, biology, or chemistry.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a forensic science laboratory or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a laboratory setting, with occasional travel to court and other locations as needed. The ability to work outside of normal business hours may be required.
