POSITION OVERVIEW

Mansueto Ventures is seeking a motivated and dedicated Human Resources Trainee to assist with various administrative functions and support our People & Culture team in achieving departmental objectives. This paid internship offers a valuable opportunity to delve into multiple facets of human resources, including recruitment, employee engagement, training, benefits administration, compensation, and payroll management.

COMPENSATION: $16 per hour. This role requires a commitment of 20-25 hours per week, with three in-office days.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and update internal databases with employee records.
  • Review resumes and application forms for entry-level roles.
  • Assist in HR initiatives focused on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
  • Manage job postings, updates, and removals across various platforms.
  • Coordinate and confirm interviews with prospective candidates.
  • Prepare HR-related documentation and reports using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Contribute ideas and insights to team discussions.
  • Develop and organize HR toolkits, guides, and resources for staff.
  • Carry out additional related tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proactive approach and ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a willingness to share knowledge.
  • Detail-oriented with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Prior experience in an HR internship is advantageous.
