Job Overview:

The Senior Employee Relations Consultant plays a pivotal role in aligning our workforce with the core values of Hollstadt Consulting. Leveraging expertise in human resources, labor regulations, and organizational dynamics, this position is tasked with executing the employee relations strategy throughout the company. The consultant will manage intricate employee relations challenges, proactively working to mitigate potential issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for employee relations, compliance, and conduct-related inquiries.
  • Conduct interviews to collect pertinent information for resolving concerns, assessing the severity of complaints, and determining appropriate actions.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel, HR business partners, and management to ensure thorough and unbiased investigations.
  • Provide comprehensive findings and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational policies.
  • Support HR business partners in addressing performance-related issues, offering guidance on effective management strategies.
  • Document and track cases in the system, analyzing trends in employee relations to develop preventive strategies.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations related to workplace investigations in accordance with company policies.
  • Engage in significant employee relations projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Update and manage HR policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect current practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with compliance, legal, HR, and security teams to promote accountability and trust.
  • Stay informed about emerging employee relations challenges and proactively suggest solutions to enhance processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience as an HR business partner or legal professional is preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including work, education, and transferable skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, influence outcomes, and drive organizational change.
  • Proficient in managing complex employee relations issues and conducting thorough investigations.
  • Strong judgment, confidentiality, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational, written, verbal, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with employees to enhance overall satisfaction.
