Role of the Enterprise Human Capital Risk Team:

The Enterprise Human Capital Risk Team within Global HR Risk Controls is charged with the development, implementation, and management of the Human Capital Risk Management Framework across Citigroup. Key responsibilities include conducting quarterly Human Capital Risk Appetite Assessments, preparing Business Performance Reports (BPR), maintaining a Human Capital risk taxonomy inventory, and developing, monitoring, and reporting on Human Capital metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and oversee the application of Human Capital risk policies, technologies, and governance processes to create sustainable solutions for minimizing losses from ineffective internal processes and emerging risks.
  • Enhance the enterprise Human Capital Risk framework, including reviewing risk taxonomy and developing minimum control standards.
  • Independently evaluate risks and initiate actions to address the underlying causes of persistent Human Capital risk losses.
  • Conduct quarterly Human Capital Risk Appetite Assessments and report on Human Capital metrics.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to senior stakeholders regarding the Human Capital Risk Management framework.
  • Inform governance committees and stakeholders on Human Capital risk matters at global, segment, and regional levels.
  • Lead the annual reviews of Human Capital Universal Key Indicators (UKI).
  • Monitor UKI triggers and thresholds, analyzing breaches and corrective action steps.
  • Communicate and escalate UKI breaches at various organizational levels.
  • Ensure that the identification, reporting, monitoring, and management of Human Capital Risk is effectively communicated to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across various functions to ensure effective management of Human Capital Risk processes.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, or audit disciplines; experience in Operational and Human Capital Risk is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, both independently and collaboratively, while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in networking across an organization and collaborating with various teams.
  • Expertise in Fraud Awareness, Risk Management Operations, Information Security Standards, and Compliance is beneficial.
  • Proficient communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong project management and reporting capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Education:

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
