QA Mobile Engineer

We are currently seeking a top tier QA analyst who has a rigorous eye for detail, exemplary technical expertise, and creative problem-solving skills. Comfortable in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial team environment. Will work closely with product, development and other QA analyst to deliver production releases aligned with the company priorities and deadlines.
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Work with various payment hardware devices and Point of Sales systems within the lab environment
- Build and enhance suites of quality tests across multiple products, platforms, and applications
- Design robust test plan strategies for sanity and regression testing
- Discover, identify, and document defects
- Ensure the delivery of high quality and consistent products
- Contribute to the design of the company's quality standards and processes
- Contribute to quality process improvement
- Collaborate in the selection of quality tools and test frameworks
- Read and understand business requirements and technical design documentation
- Automate continuous testing pipeline
- Strive to become a subject matter expert in our products and the payment industry.
- Trouble shoot production issues
- Test new release of device software and new configuration settings
- Create and Maintain documentation
- After hours support as needed
- Other related tasks as assigned
- Testing on Android
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong attention to detail and passion for precision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to see whole picture as well as how details fit into it.
- Ability to triage bugs.
- Experience with Git or other similar version control software a plus.
- Experience using ADO is a plus.
- Previous experience with Point-Of-Sales or Payment devices is a plus.
- Some programming experience a plus
- Understanding of Data security, encryption handling, compliance, data privacy and laws
- Occasional travel may be required (U.S.)
