Job Summary:

Tucker Parker Smith Group (TPS Group) is seeking a skilled Converting and Packaging Specialist to support our client, a global medical device company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Converting and Packaging equipment to produce high-quality Transdermal Pharmaceutical drugs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate Converting and Packaging equipment, ensuring correct component usage as per manufacturing order requirements.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform equipment installations, change-overs, and setups in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Quality Control: Conduct frequent line monitoring to ensure equipment operates within established parameters, reporting deviations promptly.
  • Product Quality: Ensure all products meet Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) specifications, reporting any deviations immediately.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in Converting and Packaging areas, reporting damages promptly.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow safety practices during shifts, reporting unsafe conditions promptly, and actively participate in safety programs.
  • Material Handling: Operate material handling equipment safely, adhering to plant safety requirements.
  • Process Optimization: Anticipate and plan for efficient lot kitting, staging, and operations transitions.
  • Documentation: Accurately record process and lot information in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and cGMP requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's degree in a relevant field, such as pharmaceutical or biotechnology.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech setting, with a strong understanding of SOPs, GMP, and safety regulations.
  • Flexibility: Open and flexible to different shift schedules.
