Patient Care Technician

Patient Care Technician - 5 South at Providence Health & Services.
This is a full-time role with day shifts that encompass 12-hour work periods.
As a Patient Care Technician, you will deliver fundamental nursing support to patients under the direct oversight of a Registered Nurse (RN). Your responsibilities will include assisting the RN in monitoring and caring for patients within designated areas. You will demonstrate expertise in providing care tailored to various age-specific patient demographics, including infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics, while engaging in relevant continuing education opportunities.
Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of MOAB I/II training within the first 30 to 150 days of employment for specific departments.
- Successful completion of training programs for Patient Care Technicians.
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent experience (such as corpsman, EMT, or foreign-licensed RN or MD), or completion of an accredited Nursing Program.
- Upon hiring, possession of National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Relevant clinical experience.
