Water Resources Project Manager

Job Overview

As a Water Resources Project Manager at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., you will engage in comprehensive hydrologic and hydraulic evaluations, conduct dam safety analyses, and oversee the design and compliance of water utility infrastructure and stormwater management systems. Your role will encompass stream restoration initiatives and the execution of floodplain and drainage assessments.

Your responsibilities will include performing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, executing engineering calculations, and generating detailed engineering drawings for a diverse range of water resource projects. You will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and local governmental bodies, influencing the project lifecycle from initial concepts and design phases through regulatory reviews, bidding processes, and construction oversight.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering;
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in water resources projects, specifically in areas such as hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater management, dam safety engineering, and utility infrastructure design;
  • Proficient in using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HydroCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or similar hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software;
  • Experience in producing engineering drawings;
  • Strong writing skills for the preparation of technical documentation;
  • Familiarity with Unsteady Flow and 2D Hydraulic Modeling is preferred but not mandatory.
