Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engineering planning and design, and/or provide leadership for the execution of water and wastewater projects, encompassing both conveyance and treatment.
  • Guide junior team members, develop work schedules, and assign specific tasks.
  • Supervise the creation of reports, plans, and specifications for design initiatives.
  • Manage projects or assist project managers, including supporting pursuits, engaging with clients, developing project scopes, planning, organizing, managing changes, coordinating across disciplines, leading teams, overseeing financial aspects, ensuring project quality, and timely delivery.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and possess operational insights to drive projects and fulfill deliverables.
  • Comprehend project objectives and effectively communicate them to project teams to consistently meet client expectations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • B.S. or M.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with relevant experience is required.
  • 5-8 years of experience in environmental/water resources engineering consulting for local government/municipal or industrial clients.
  • P.E. licensure is mandatory.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to lead, develop, and deliver compelling presentations that build client confidence and secure favorable design contracts.
  • Strong grasp of engineering principles related to water and wastewater conveyance and treatment.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing project plans, anticipating and resolving project issues, leading client meetings, and directing the completion of technical reports.
