Job Summary

Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber, Inc. (FTCH) is seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Process Engineer/Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Ohio office, you will be responsible for managing projects from concept to completion, preparing studies for facility master planning, and coordinating with staff from multiple design disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects, including planning, design, and construction.
  • Prepare studies for facility master planning, alternatives analysis, feasibility studies, and preliminary engineering reports.
  • Coordinate with staff from multiple design disciplines, including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
  • Develop design documents and specifications, and obtain construction permits from regulatory agencies.
  • Manage and mentor staff, including engineers and technicians.
  • Make site visits to pursue project leads and conduct site observations.
  • Participate in the preparation of qualifications and proposals.
  • Involvement in trade organizations, such as the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and the Water Environment Federation (WEF).
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in the state of application.
  • 12+ years of primarily water and/or wastewater process experience working with local and regional utilities.
  • Strong technical experience in water and/or wastewater facility planning and design.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Self-motivation, excellent communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to confidently interact with clients and potential clients.
