Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering planning and design efforts, as well as oversee the execution of water and wastewater projects, including both conveyance and treatment aspects.
  • Supervise junior staff, develop work schedules, and assign specific responsibilities.
  • Oversee the creation of reports, plans, and specifications for various design projects.
  • Manage projects or assist project managers, including client engagement, project scope development, planning, change management, inter-discipline coordination, team leadership, financial oversight, quality control, and project delivery.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and possess the operational insight necessary for driving projects and fulfilling deliverables.
  • Comprehend project objectives and effectively communicate them to project teams to ensure consistent achievement of client expectations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with relevant experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience in environmental or water resources engineering consulting for municipal or industrial clients.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure is mandatory.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead, develop, and deliver compelling presentations that instill client confidence and secure favorable design contracts.
  • Strong grasp of engineering principles related to water and wastewater conveyance and treatment.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing project plans, proactively addressing project challenges, leading client meetings, and directing the completion of technical reports.
