Water Resources Project Manager
Job Overview
As a Water Resources Project Manager at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., you will engage in comprehensive hydrologic and hydraulic evaluations, dam safety inspections, regulatory compliance, and the design and rehabilitation of water utility infrastructures and stormwater management systems. Your role will encompass stream restoration initiatives and conducting detailed floodplain and drainage assessments.
Your responsibilities will include performing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, executing engineering calculations, and generating precise engineering drawings for a diverse range of water resource projects. You will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and governmental authorities, influencing the project lifecycle from initial concepts and design phases through regulatory reviews, bidding processes, and construction management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering;
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in water resources projects, particularly in hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater management, dam safety, and utility infrastructure design;
- Proficiency in using software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HydroCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or similar hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools;
- Experience in producing engineering drawings;
- Strong writing skills for technical report preparation;
- Familiarity with Unsteady Flow and 2D Hydraulic Modeling is preferred but not mandatory.
