Job Description

As a National Segment Manager at Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America, Inc., you will play a crucial role in increasing brand recognition and company footprint in the Segment by creating and nurturing relationships with commercial tire dealers and wholesale distributors. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to travel up to 70% of the time to visit customers and provide training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet annual budgeted sales and EBITDA targets for the Segment.
  • Work with cross-functional departments to drive profitable sales using internal tools and external pricing benchmarking.
  • Inform Regional Leaders of Aftermarket Sales and other relevant management personnel on strategies for attaining targeted sales.
  • Establish new sales opportunities using pricing, product demonstrations, and competitive market intelligence.
  • Coordinate with marketing personnel and sales team members to identify, plan, and execute in-field product tests.

Requirements:

  • 4 Year College Degree (advanced degree preferred) with a minimum of 3+ years of off-highway tire industry experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
  • Outstanding time management skills with organized habits.
  • Sound communication skills and work collaboratively with other departments.

Travel Requirements:

Frequent domestic travel as required, up to 70% of the time by airplane and car travel.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

Regularly required to sit or stand and move about the facility. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Required to be able to read documents and computer screens.
