Position Overview

The role of the Senior Electrical Engineer involves significant responsibilities in leading projects related to electronic and mechanical components for medical devices. The focus is on practical tasks rather than titles, ensuring that the candidate's experience aligns with the needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independent Leadership: Operate autonomously or in a leadership capacity to assess and qualify alternative electronic and mechanical components for medical applications.
  • Technical Review: Conduct thorough evaluations of technical specification sheets for recommended parts, ensuring compliance and suitability.
  • Project Coordination: Organize and direct the use of both internal and external resources to meet project objectives effectively.
  • Business Acumen: Possess a deep understanding of the company's business requirements, alongside customer and clinical needs related to ongoing projects.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Actively participate in cross-departmental teams to support and align with organizational goals.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a technical authority on project-related matters, interfacing with senior management and external entities as necessary.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure timely completion of all required documentation in accordance with business standards.
  • Feedback Coordination: Follow up with reviewers to obtain necessary feedback and approvals.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all relevant EHS policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies, including GMP, while performing assigned duties.

This position is critical in maintaining the integrity and quality of medical products through rigorous technical assessments and collaborative efforts across various departments.
