Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Unity Health. As a key member of our Rehabilitative Services Department, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care and collaborating with medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and guide Physical Therapist Assistants and therapy aides to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and independence.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure to practice physical therapy in the State of Arkansas.
  • One to three months of on-the-job training to learn department procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direct supervision.
Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to lift and carry equipment, supplies, and materials. You will also need to assist patients in positioning and transfers as needed for specific treatment programs.
