Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution
  • Completion of a supervised clinical internship to qualify for professional licensing
  • Valid license to practice physical therapy in the State of Arkansas

Experience and Training:
  • One to three months of on-the-job training in departmental procedures

  • Oversee Physical Therapist Assistants, therapy aides, and technicians
  • Collaborate with medical personnel on patient care policies and protocols
  • Improve patient care quality through effective communication with departments
  • Engage with patients, medical staff, rehabilitation associates, nursing staff, and social workers
  • Actively contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  • Assist in acquiring and maintaining essential equipment

Physical Requirements:
  • Lift and transport equipment, supplies, and materials
  • Aid patients in positioning and transferring for treatment sessions
  • Utilize verbal and auditory skills to provide instructions and information
  • Employ visual acuity to observe treatment responses and read instructions

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Day shifts
