Project Managers are responsible for coordinating and executing multiple fire and life safety initiatives of varying complexities, contributing to the establishment of safer environments in critical facilities such as healthcare institutions, educational establishments, and industrial sites. In this role, you will:

  • Assess project specifications, blueprints, and associated documents to grasp project objectives, establishing detailed project timelines in collaboration with the team while pinpointing essential installation deadlines.
  • Supervise the acquisition of necessary supplies and materials for project fulfillment, actively engaging in project cost evaluations to ensure financial prudence.
  • Assist the Operations Manager in hiring subcontractors, coordinating their tasks to align with project scope, timelines, and budgetary constraints while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct orientations for project technicians, providing all essential project documentation, including scope of work, technical schematics, project contacts, and application-engineered diagrams.
  • Meticulously monitor project resources and progress, documenting any occurrences affecting the schedule, scope, and overall efficiency; identify and pursue opportunities for project-specific change orders.
  • Oversee project-specific billing coordination with the accounting team and Operations Manager, schedule commissioning resources, expedite the return of mark-ups for as-built documentation, and ensure timely completion of project-specific close-out documentation.


Your impact will be realized through these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the commercial Fire and Life Safety or a related sector.
  • Familiarity with local and national (NFPA) fire alarm codes and regulations; ability to interpret drawings and specifications, as well as electrical, network, and control wiring diagrams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-based sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the commercial fire and life safety sector.
  • NICET certification.

  • The salary range for this position is $73,080 - $125,280 per year, with an annual incentive target of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may vary based on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
