About the Role: As a Technical Project Leader at Novitex, you will take charge of steering and overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring the successful attainment of project goals within defined scope, budget, and timeline parameters.

Your role will involve collaborating with diverse teams, stakeholders, and external partners to establish project requirements, formulate project plans, and implement project activities effectively.

Your expertise in leadership, communication, and problem-solving will be crucial in driving project success and nurturing a culture of teamwork and innovation.


Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee projects throughout their lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with project management best practices, methodologies, and standards.

- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and requirements.

- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, including resource allocation, task assignments, and risk management strategies to meet project objectives within constraints.

- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and status updates, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and sponsors.

- Monitor and assess project progress, milestones, and performance metrics, identifying variances, risks, and issues, and implementing corrective actions and mitigation strategies as necessary.

- Manage project resources, including personnel, budgets, and materials, to optimize resource utilization and ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget.

- Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders, sponsors, and senior management through regular status reports, presentations, and meetings.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and knowledge sharing to enhance project delivery capabilities.

- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as relevant regulatory requirements, throughout the project lifecycle.

- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members, cultivating a positive and productive work environment and promoting professional development and growth.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

- Proven experience in project management roles, with a history of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to stakeholder satisfaction.

- Strong project management skills, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and quality management, with proficiency in project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile, or PRINCE2.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders, build consensus, and resolve conflicts.

- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams, motivate team members, and drive collaboration and accountability to achieve project goals.

- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop and implement practical solutions to address challenges and mitigate risks.

- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Smartsheet, and familiarity with project management frameworks, processes, and tools.

- Project management certification, such as PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2 Practitioner, preferred.
